Shipping policy

We value a slow, sustainable and considered process throughout every step of our studio’s day to day workings. In light of this, and due to the nature of a small scale studio, lead times may vary from 7-14 days until dispatch of your order. You will be notified as soon as your order is on its way. Please bear this in mind when placing your order.

 

Shipping (South Africa)

All shipping within South Africa is undertaken by private couriers.

 

Shipping within South Africa is charged at a flat rate of R110. Shipping for original artworks and commissions is dependent on the specifics of the piece and will be specified per item.

 

Once your order is dispatched, delivery usually takes 2 - 3 working days to major cities. Delivery to outlying areas can take between 4 - 6 working days.

 

Shipping (International)

 

We now offer international shipping to the United States, United Kingdom, most of the EU, Australia, New Zealand and Canada. Shipping options to these areas will automatically generate at checkout.

 

PLEASE NOTE: Import duties, taxes and fees will most likely be charged upon entry to your country. The shipping carrier will require payment of these charges in order to release your shipment. At this time, we cannot pre-calculate these charges at checkout but some general estimates are as follows:

 

United States - no charges applicable to shipments under $800

UK/EU - roughly 20% of your order value + admin fees

Australia - no charges applicable to shipments under AU$1000

 

Should you require shipping to any countries not listed above, please simply contact me to arrange. I will add new shipping destinations on a demand basis. 

 

Collections

Collections are available from Gillitts, KZN by prior arrangement only.

 

Shipping Insurance

Every effort is taken to ensure that original artworks and fine art prints are securely packaged to best withstand fair handling during shipping. However, couriering and shipping is done so solely at your own risk. Insurance to cover the value of your artwork is available, please enquire directly to opt for the cover if you would like to further safeguard the transit of your artwork.
